🎬 Movie Introduction

This is the very first movie I’ve ever made, and my first time creating one with AI. 🎞️ I suppose you could call it my directorial debut—though the title "director" still feels a bit awkward to me.

I submitted this piece to the 'AI for Good Film Festival' hosted by the UN. hile it didn't win an award, I believe the challenge itself was far more meaningful than any trophy.

The theme is 'Labor and Community in the Age of AI.' I wanted to make this theme stand out by using a woodcut/print-like texture. Maintaining this distinct texture while generating moving images made the production process incredibly challenging.

📝 Synopsis

"In a world of rapid change, what is it that we have truly lost?"

One day, a massive factory arrives in a village where everything used to be slow yet peaceful. The "speed" brought by the factory completely turns the villagers' lives upside down. However, it isn't long before robots take over, and the human workers are driven out of their workplaces.

In that moment of crisis, the original villagers—who were once ignored by the factory workers—are the first to reach out.

Discover a heartwarming chronicle of people healing wounds and building a new community together. Presenting the AI short film, 'Morning in Noreen Maeul'(Slow Village).

💡 Future Plans

I plan to keep making AI movies whenever I get the chance. 💡

The beautiful thing about the AI era is that it makes things possible that were previously inaccessible or impossible—things that might have taken a lifetime to achieve in the past.

If you have a plan and an idea, you can create anything. Turning imagination into reality is actually happening right now.

With that gratitude in mind, I’ve decided to keep going, steadily and passionately..

[5] Why Do I Need to Know “Me”?

The Philosophy of Wealth and Prosperity: Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching
Lao Tzu says, abandon greed, refrain from striving to take from one another, and instead, care for and support one another. This world is already filled with wealth and prosperity, so he pleads to stop that the former and to cease such actions.
