오늘의 그림은 말코손바닥사슴과 흑표 두 동물이다. 말코손바닥사슴은 현존하는 사슴 중 덩치가 가장 큰 종으로, 북미에서는 무스(Moose), 유럽에서는 엘크(Elk)라고 불린다. 흑표는 표범이나 재규어 중 멜라닌 색소 과로 인해 피부와 털이 검은색으로 나타나는 변종을 통칭하며, 주로 동남아시아 정글이나 아메리카 대륙에 서식한다.

재미로 쓰는 커피와 커피집 이야기다. 커피를 좋아해서 시작했다. 커피가 일상이 된 이 시대에 ‘커피가 좋아요’라는 말이 적절한가? 라는 생각도 문득 들지만. 커피를 좋아하기 시작한 건, 쓰디쓴 에스프레소 한 잔이었다. 설탕 한 스푼 넣은 걸 얻어마셨는데, 뭔가 참 색다른 기분이었다. 쓴 맛보다 입안 가득한 풍미가 좋았다.
